About the role

A Day in the life of an Account Manager...

You start the day with a thorough analysis of a customer portfolio. A major player in the transport sector has shared challenges regarding real-time tracking of their assets. You discuss the details in a video call, present how the SaaS platform can address their specific needs and simultaneously spot new opportunities to optimize their operational processes. With your expertise and advice, you build customer trust and position yourself as a reliable thought leader.

Later in the morning, you participate in an internal meeting with product management and development teams. Together, you discuss the technical details of an ongoing project to ensure a flawless implementation. Your role as a link between the customer and internal teams is crucial to keep everything on track.

In the afternoon, you attend an event or trade show, where you make valuable contacts and discuss the latest trends in IoT and asset management. You position yourself and the company as key players in the world of Connected Workers and Track & Trace solutions.

The day ends with reviewing proposals that you will soon present to potential customers. You ensure that each proposal is carefully prepared and devise strategies to close deals successfully. A quick email to a customer to thank them for their trust, and then you end the day with a sense of accomplishment, ready to make an impact again tomorrow.

Do You Recognize Yourself in This Profile?

About you

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in economics, industrial sciences, business administration or a similar field.
  • +5 years of sales experience with medium to large enterprises in a B2B environment, preferably in the construction, installation or IT sector.
  • A passion for sales & IT; knowledge of complex SaaS solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Languages: D, E. Professional knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Staying up to date with market changes and closely follows competitors.
