About the role
As an Account Manager, you will be the face of this company to their clients within the European institutions. You will be responsible for managing and expanding a client portfolio in the public sector. You will build strong relationships with existing clients and actively seek new business opportunities in the IT consultancy sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic account plan to attract new clients and retain existing ones;
- Build long-term client relationships through regular contact, professional support, and tailored advice;
- Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell within the IT consultancy sector;
- Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts in collaboration with internal teams.
- Work closely with the recruitment and delivery teams to match the right IT professionals with client needs;
- Monitor market trends and developments in IT consultancy to identify new opportunities.
About you
- +3 years of experience in a similar commercial role, preferably in the IT consultancy sector;
- Experience with the public sector and/or European institutions is a major asset;
- Strong commercial mindset with a talent for networking and negotiation;
- Relationship builder with different stakeholders in the EU Commission;
- Results-driven with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and achieving targets;
- Affinity with IT consultancy and a good understanding of the IT market;
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong plus;
