About the role

In the strategic role of Head of Sales, you are responsible for expanding and optimizing the commercial activities. You not only lead the sales team but are also a crucial link in determining a sales strategy to further establish this company as a market leader in charging solutions.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Develop and implement a successful sales strategy focused on growth and customer satisfaction with an 'as a service model' as an important way of offering solutions.
  • Actively identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships within the world of EV solutions and renewable energy.
  • Act as the interface towards important existing and new customers.
  • Lead, coach and motivate the sales & marketing team (5 FTE) to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Consult with the marketing people and graphic designers to create audiovisual material to support your own activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to proactively respond to developments in the sector.
  • Report to the management team and contribute to strategic decisions.

About you

  • +5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the sustainable energy, EV solutions or technology sector.
  • Entrepreneurial and start up mentality to design a go to market plan for the different sectors.
  • Languages: Dutch and/or bilingual Dutch/French.
  • Strong networking skills and proven experience in building long-term customer relationships.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Strategic insight combined with a hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Result-oriented, with a keen eye for commercial opportunities.
