Your Role
As a Unit Lead, you take on the exciting challenge of leading and growing a business unit of 30-50 professionals in the domain of Data Strategy or Data & Cloud. You combine strategic vision with operational excellence, helping to drive the growth of the services, build a high-performing team and ensure impactful client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing team. Support career development, foster a collaborative & innovative culture and create initiatives that ensure team cohesion and knowledge sharing.
Project Delivery Excellence: Oversee consulting engagements, ensuring quality and client satisfaction. Provide guidance during challenges and, when needed, take the lead on critical projects.
Business Growth: Work closely with the business development team to qualify leads, shape sales strategies and grow client relationships. Manage key accounts, identify new opportunities and drive long-term success.
Operational Efficiency: Define and develop the service and product portfolio of your unit, manage budgets, optimize recruitment and onboarding and ensure streamlined operations to support outstanding delivery.
Entrepreneurial Impact: Drive the growth of your business unit by identifying market trends, introducing innovative offerings and positioning this company as a leader in the field.
About you
A hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for growth
- 8+ years of experience in consulting or professional services, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. Proven expertise in data strategy and governance or data architecture and engineering is essential, along with a strong conceptual understanding of their key building blocks.
- Leadership: Proven ability to build, inspire, coach and manage high performing teams, while fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
- Business Acumen: Strong balance of strategic vision and operational focus, with a knack for spotting opportunities and turning them into results.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch or French.
